The Department of Parental Involvement recognized Alma Santellanes as the
2007-2008 Parental Involvement Aide of the Year 2007-2008. She was recognized for her commitment
to the Del Rio Middle School Parental Involvement Program. In recognition for her contributions to facilitate
and coordinate a strong relationship between parents, community and school, she was presented with a
plaque at a luncheon held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
